Throughout the past few years Irish singer songwriter Seán Needham and his Band have been bringing their blend of ‘upbeat acoustic rock’ to audiences across Denmark and Ireland. His music style been compared to Van Morrison and Jack Johnson.

Sean released his second album Time is a Friend in Autumn 2009. ‘Time is a Friend’ was recorded in Denmark where he now lives, with the help of producer Julian Falck of Mofus. The album was recorded in a small house and mostly in the small hours on the Danish Island of Møn.

Seán released his first album entitled Loosely Based On A True Story in Ireland in 2004. The single ‘Hey Juliet’ was play-listed on nation and regional radio stations across Ireland and earned him much publicity and support slots with major artists including, Tracy Chapman, Diana Krall, Huey Lewis and the News and the legendary Bo Diddley.

This album was also his ticket to sharing the stage with artists such as Teitur and Rasmus Nøhr in Denmark.

Seán & his band will be playing regularly throughout Denmark and Ireland promoting the album.

Sean can currently be seen around Copenhagen playing with John McGeer (vocals/bass), Martin Lærke (vocals/percussion), Gonzalo Serrano (violin/fiddle), Esther Kjær (vocals) and other musicians who happen to be near by on the night.
