O.K. I know! This page needs updating badly. But here
are the facts on the Danish connection...
Seán is
now living in Copenhagen where he is playing with Thea
Damgaard (vocals/double bass) and Rasmus Skovmund (percussion).
As you can see we still have to get some information
about Thea and Rasmus on this site. Until then you can
read some trivia on the musicians Sean has played with
in Ireland.

Esther on percussion and backing vocals.
So how did the daughter of a
Danish female priest end up singing in an Irish acoustic rock
band? Esther Kjaer Nielsen is from Copenhagen and comes
from a long line of choral singers. She has always had an interest
in Irish music and moved here three years ago to experience the
Irish way of life. Before long she was singing in the Dublin based
chamber choir, The Mornington Singers and playing bodhrán
in local trad. sessions. Esther joined Seán and the band for a bit
of a session one night and hasn’t left since! |

Darren on bass
Darren Bowler, who hails from
Dublin, learned piano at an early age and moved to guitar and then
bass guitar. After wisely ruling out a singing career he stuck
with the latter instrument. Darren has quite an eclectic musical
taste ranging from Primus to Jaco Pastorius to Tool to Chick Corea
to Jane's Addiction to Audioslave. Not happy with his 4-string
bass guitar, he invested in a fretless bass, an 8-string
sparkly-gold bass and finally ended up with a standard 4-string. |
